AI SEO that gets your brand cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews.
Buyers increasingly ask an assistant before they ever scan a results page. Being named in that answer is a different job from ranking — and it rests on the same technical and editorial foundation. We run both as one programme: GEO, AEO and LLM SEO on top of the SEO groundwork that makes any of it possible.
Built for how retrieval actually works
(crawler access, a clean brand entity and passages worth quoting — the conditions a model needs before it can name you at all)
One brand entity, stated the same way everywhere
(what you do, who you serve and what you can prove, aligned across your site, your structured data and the sources models already read)
Measured as citation share, not a vanity ranking
(which assistants mention you, which pages get quoted, and what that traffic does once it lands)
Running campaigns since 2018
Daily audits across 25+ accounts

One body of work, two kinds of visibility
The same four layers decide whether a page ranks and whether an assistant is willing to quote it. We lead with the AI outcome because that is where the ground is still open — the classic result comes with it, not instead of it.
1. Access for crawlers
Crawl and index diagnostics, render checks, Core Web Vitals, robots directives, llms.txt and a deliberate policy for AI user agents rather than an accidental one.
In AI answers: Your content is readable by the crawlers that feed AI answers — and you decide which ones are welcome.
In classic results: Pages are indexed, fast and free of the technical faults that quietly suppress them.
2. Entity and architecture
Organization and Service schema, consistent business facts, disambiguation from similarly named companies, an internal link structure that matches how you actually sell.
In AI answers: A model can state what your brand is, what it sells and who it is for — without guessing or blending you with a competitor.
In classic results: Clear topical hierarchy, eligible rich results, internal links that concentrate rather than dilute authority.
3. Content and proof
Question-led structure, self-contained definitions, named authorship, primary sources, comparison tables and a review cadence that keeps claims current.
In AI answers: Individual passages answer a question completely, so an assistant can quote one without needing the rest of the page.
In classic results: Depth and originality that earn rankings on the queries buyers actually type.
4. Measurement
Search Console and GA4 wired to separate assistant referrals from classic organic, prompt-set monitoring for the questions that matter commercially, and reporting in the same view as your paid channels.
In AI answers: You can see where you are cited, where a competitor is cited instead, and whether that is moving.
In classic results: Impressions, positions and clicks read together rather than in isolation.
What we actually do
No content mill, no link packages. The work is diagnostic first, technical second and editorial third — in that order, because that is the order in which it compounds.
Visibility audit
We start by establishing what is true today: whether AI crawlers can reach your content, whether your brand entity is coherent, which questions you are already cited on, and where a competitor is being named instead of you.
Technical foundation
Indexation, rendering, site speed, canonical and hreflang handling, structured data. Unglamorous work, but a model cannot cite a page it never successfully fetched.
Entity and knowledge base
We make your business facts consistent and machine-readable — services, markets, credentials, pricing model, contact routes — across your site, schema, llms.txt and the third-party sources assistants tend to lean on.
Content built to be quoted
Briefs and structure for the pages and articles that answer real buying questions: definitional openers, self-contained FAQs, tables, sources. Written for a reader first and extractable as a consequence.
Crawler and rights policy
A documented decision on which AI agents may train on, retrieve or summarise your content — implemented in robots directives and llms.txt, and revisited as platform terms change.
Reporting and iteration
Monthly view of citation presence, assistant referrals and organic performance, with the next set of pages chosen from what the data shows rather than from a fixed content calendar.
Where the visibility has to happen
Each surface selects sources differently, so we do not optimise for a single one. We work on the conditions all of them share, then check each separately.
Google AI Overviews and AI Mode
Google's generated answers sit above the classic results and reshape what a click is worth. Being one of the sources named there is a different job from ranking first.
ChatGPT search
Assistants retrieve live pages to answer commercial questions and cite what they used. Whether your page is fetchable, and whether a single passage answers cleanly, decides if you appear.
Perplexity and Gemini
Answer engines lean heavily on citations and freshness. They reward pages with a clear claim, a stated source and an unambiguous subject.
Classic organic results
Still the largest source of non-paid demand, and still the surface everything else is built on. It comes with the work rather than instead of it.
We publish an ongoing series on AI search — AI Overviews, AI Mode, AEO versus GEO, LLM SEO and how to measure any of it. It is the same thinking this service runs on, written up in public.
Three ways in, depending on what you already know
Most engagements start with the audit, because committing to a monthly programme before anyone has established what is broken is how budgets get wasted.
Audit first, then decide
A one-off diagnostic that establishes crawler access, entity coherence, current citation presence and the specific faults blocking visibility. It ends with a prioritised plan you own — whether or not you continue with us.
Monthly programme
A flat fee for an agreed scope: technical work, entity and schema, content briefs, monitoring and reporting. Not a percentage of anything, so the fee does not rise simply because your budget did.
Defined project
A fixed scope with a fixed end: a migration, a schema and entity rebuild, an llms.txt and crawler policy, or a cluster of pages built around one commercial question.
We do not sell guaranteed positions or a guaranteed share of AI answers — no supplier can, because the platforms do not offer either. What we commit to is a defined scope, an agreed measurement method and reporting you can check. Deliverables, access and data stay yours.
When this is worth doing — and when it is not yet
This is a compounding investment with a slow start. It suits businesses whose buyers research carefully and who can act on what an audit finds.
It makes sense when
Your buyers research before they contact anyone — and increasingly do that research by asking an assistant rather than scanning ten blue links.
You have something genuinely defensible to say: real expertise, real data, or a real product difference a model can repeat accurately.
You can act on technical findings, either with your own developers or with ours, rather than filing the audit and moving on.
You accept a horizon measured in months. Entity and citation work compounds; it does not switch on.
Not yet, when
You need enquiries this month and nothing else. Paid channels do that job better — start there and let this run alongside.
The site cannot be changed: no development capacity, no access, no appetite for structural work.
You want volume of published content above all else. Thin pages are the fastest way to be ignored by both Google and every assistant.
Success is defined purely as position one on a single head term. That is a different, narrower brief than the one this page describes.
Diagnose, fix the foundation, then compound
The order is the method. Publishing into a site assistants cannot read is the most common way this budget disappears without a trace.
Diagnose
We establish the current state: can crawlers reach you, is your entity coherent, what are you cited on today, and who is being named instead. You get the findings and the priority order, with the reasoning attached.
Fix the foundation
Access, indexation, structured data and entity consistency come first. Content work on a broken foundation is spend without leverage — this is the sequencing most programmes get wrong.
Compound
With the base in place we work through the commercial questions one cluster at a time, monitor where citations move, and let the results decide the next cluster rather than a calendar.
Different models, one operating standard
A cross-section of work across premium e-commerce, marketplaces, local lead generation and ticketed experiences. Each story shows how the right strategy, capabilities and operating cadence come together around the business model.

AI SEO, GEO and AEO — the questions worth asking
What is AI SEO?
AI SEO is the work that makes a brand findable and quotable by AI-driven search: Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Gemini, alongside classic organic results. In practice it covers four things — access for the crawlers that feed those systems, a coherent and machine-readable brand entity, content structured so a single passage answers a question completely, and measurement of where you are actually being cited. It is also sold under the names GEO (generative engine optimization), AEO (answer engine optimization) and LLM SEO; the deliverables overlap heavily.
What is the difference between SEO, GEO, AEO and LLM SEO?
Less than the number of acronyms suggests. SEO traditionally optimises for ranked lists of links. GEO, AEO and LLM SEO describe optimising to be selected and cited inside a generated answer. The underlying work is largely shared: technical access, entity clarity, structured data, genuinely useful content and credible sourcing. The meaningful difference is the target and the measurement — a position versus a citation. That is why we run it as one engagement rather than two, and why we do not invoice for it twice.
Does AI SEO replace classic SEO?
No, and treating it as a replacement is the common mistake. The technical and content foundation that earns rankings is the same foundation an assistant needs in order to fetch, understand and quote you. What changes is that ranking alone no longer guarantees the visit, because the answer may be assembled above the results. So the sensible framing is one programme with two outputs, weighted toward whichever one your buyers actually use.
How do you measure something like citation share?
With a defined prompt set rather than an impression of progress. We agree the commercial questions that matter for your business, record which brands and sources are named in the answers today, and re-check on a set cadence. Alongside that, Search Console shows organic movement and GA4 is configured to separate referrals from assistants from classic organic. We report the direction and the gaps; anyone promising a precise, guaranteed share of AI answers is describing something the platforms do not expose.
How long before this shows results?
Technical faults can be fixed in weeks and their effect on crawling and indexation is visible quickly. Entity coherence and citation presence move on a slower curve, because they depend on models re-reading your site and on third-party sources agreeing with it. We plan in quarters, with the first weeks weighted toward the fixes that unblock everything else.
Should we block AI crawlers or allow them?
It should be a decision, not a default. Blocking retrieval crawlers removes the mechanism by which assistants can cite you at all; allowing everything gives up control over training use. In practice most brands want to be retrievable and citable while being deliberate about training. We document the position, implement it in robots directives and llms.txt, and revisit it when platform terms change — which they do.
Do we need an llms.txt file?
It is useful but it is not a shortcut. llms.txt is a plain-text summary of your site aimed at language models, and support for it varies between platforms. It helps state clearly what your business is and which pages matter — we publish one on our own sites for that reason. It will not compensate for a site that crawlers cannot render, a brand entity that contradicts itself, or content with nothing quotable in it.
Can you work alongside our existing SEO agency?
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. A frequent split is that the incumbent continues classic rankings and link work while we take the technical foundation, entity and structured data, AI-crawler policy and citation measurement. What has to be agreed up front is who owns changes to the site, so recommendations do not sit in a queue between two suppliers.
